Kifuno-sato is a Ryokan, or a Japanese traditional inn, located in the Yunogo Onsen hot springs resort area in the Okayama prefecture of Japan. The Okayama prefecture is known as the birthplace of Miyamoto Musashi, a famous Samurai (swordsman) and Yunogo, a small, rustic town surrounded by majestic mountains. The Kifuno-sato Ryokan was built in harmony with the scenic nature of the area and maintains the warm atmosphere of the Yunogo Onsen town. Yumeguri Coaster

At Yunogo Onsen town, we provide an unique voucher service called Yumeguri Coaster (Onsen Tour). If you buy a Yumeguri coaster (a value of 900 Yen or about $10 US) at the Ryokan you are staying at, you can then visit from 3 of 13 Hot Springs facilities in the Yunogo Onsen Town, including the Sagiyu Onsen Place. You can use the coaster as an admission ticket at the 3 Onsen facilities, a good value and money savings for you! The coaster can act as a souvenir from our Ryokan too.

At our Ryokan, we offer a very caring and sensitive Japanese inn accommodation experience. We especially welcome women and take care in providing the nicer details in our services. Our attention to detail is expressed in everything from the flooring of our Ryokan laid with Tatami mats to colourful accents of fresh cut, seasonal flowers. Experience the simple pleasures of walking on Tatami-mats with bare feet, while the fragrance of beautiful flowers delight your senses. We go out of our way to create a very sensual and secluded retreat from the outside world.

Kifuno-sato is located in the Yunogo Onsen resort town in Japan, known as one of the three best Mimasaka Santo Onsen hot springs in the area. Although it is only seven minutes by car from the Mimasaka Intersection Express Way, Yunogo is still a quiet town hidden in the mountains where you can spend your time in complete relaxation, forgetting the busy, noisy city life.

To achieve perfection in enjoyment of our Japanese cuisine we serve you dinner at the right time and sense the timing of each serving to maximize the experience. We will also consider a guest's needs for special requests, we do serve vegetarian servings. We will do our best to meet your requests.

You can select your own style of Yukata and Tabi socks! We have a selection of Yukata and Tabi socks for you! For our female guests, we provide a wide selection of Yukata (Kimono-like robes) in various colors and designs. We also offer 2 types of Tabi (two-toed Japanese stockings).

You can select even pillows! You also have the choice of selecting the style of your pillows. We provide 3 types of very comfortable pillows, so you can select s style of pillow you are familiar with to enjoy a restful night.
